Like a lot of you I have an iPad and I illustrate on it when I'm on-the-go. I did this "Jailbreak" illustration recently and Bryan M. Wolfe was kind enough to include it in one of his posts. I'm so exited and happy to see that! I read their blog daily and you should too. Check out the illustration and read the article it was used in by clicking here.
As a self-taught artist living in Los Angeles, Macsorro, is stirring the pot with his take on the pop surrealist movement. Gaining inspiration from artists like Jan Van Eyck, Hieronymus Bosch, and Mark Ryden, Macsorro is able to create imaginative paintings that often contain a light-hearted mashup of societies foibles. His style is riddled with personal and profound symbolic imagery. He shows his artwork in California, New York, Rome, Italy and Japan later in 2012.

Pig Boy back in the game
Turns out that "Pig Boy" is available. I sound like a broken record, I know. It is one of my favorites. Showed at the Barnsdall Park Museum last year in the Beyond Eden show with the C.A.V.E. Gallery.
