Julius, the Monkey man

Hi peeps, this is my newest painting. Made for the Anomalies show at Copro Gallery in Culver City, CA. I hope you guys like it. It's Oils on masonite and it's oval. It's 9" tall and 6.5" wide. Contact the gallery for availability.

And since October is here, has been for 15 days now, the cool people at Cactus Gallery put together their anual Dia de los Muertos Themes Show. The pic below is my piece for the show.  It's tittles Rosita. Made with acrylics. It's 10" tall, and 8" wide. This piece is no longer available. :-( But either way I hope you guys like it. Prints will be coming soon for anyone that wants one.

More new artwork is in the works and will be posted in the next few weeks or so. I'll be showing at Copro Gallery, in Japan at the Ganka Garou Gallery, in Flower Pepper gallery and in February at WWA Gallery. Geez! Got a lot of work to do. Thanks for checking in.

Dorla Dark Book

Hi people!

Thanks for checking out my new work. In the last few months I've been busy making lots of new paintings for shows in the US, Italy and Tokyo. But when I put the brushes down I like to write short stories and novellas. I've always been passionate about writing, fiction mainly, since I was in grade school. Most of them have never seen the light of day, but that's about to change. For about a year I've been madly pounding on my keyboard trying to write an exiting story for you guys to read. After a few key replacements, countless revisions and a sprinkle of creative dust, I am done. It was fun and very tedious, like most of my paintings, but worth the satisfaction of seeing it ready for people to enjoy.

The novella is called Dorla Dark: Holy Huntress. It's comparable to the works of Mike Mignola, a personal favorite, creator of the Hellboy series. If you like his work you will definitely like my novella.

The book is available on Kindle at www.amazon.com. You'll be able to download it instantly into your Kindle device or any Device with the Kindle app. It's available for $0.99.

Taboo

July 7th is the opening of "Taboo" at Last Rites Gallery in New York. The show is curated by Jon Beinart. The line up of artists partisipating is amazing and I couldn't be happier to be a part of it.

Like a lot of you I have an iPad and I illustrate on it when I'm on-the-go. I did this "Jailbreak" illustration recently and Bryan M. Wolfe was kind enough to include it in one of his posts. Pig Boy back in the game

Turns out that "Pig Boy" is available. I sound like a broken record, I know. It is one of my favorites. Showed at the Barnsdall Park Museum last year in the Beyond Eden show with the C.A.V.E. Gallery.
